Sputnik Kino

From all the hidden cinemas in Berlin, the Sputnik is probably the most beautiful one. Anyone entering the ‘Höfe am Südstern’, would only expect offices and the occasional yoga studio.

But on the second inner courtyard, on the fifth floor (without elevator!), is the Sputnik. An art house cinema with two screens, one of which has its seats enclosed by low brick walls. The bar area, with its warm interior and awesome balcony view over Berlin, is the best part of this complex.
