Ritter Butzke

Tourist trap or not? Butzke is an institution in Berlin, though not uncontentious. Some consider it to be a place only for tourists, other see it as a beacon for the house scene in Berlin.

One way or the other, Berliners know the Butzke, everyone has been there at least once. Since 2007 it is a special place, in the former factory buildings in the Ritterstraße. The most peculiar is the fact the cub has three floors, that are not connected with each other. Which means that also in winter you have to get into the cold to switch floors. Definitely exciting is the programme, which varies starkly from one night to another.
