The discussion where you can get the tastiest currywurst of Berlin, is one that is often carried out passionately. Two names always surface: Konnopke and Curry 36. Both eateries often have long queues.

The sausages, with or without guts, with or without buns, with or without french fries, are always served with a huge load of curry. Lovely! Detail: the last time I visited, a waitress had a tattoo of Curry 36 on her arm. Without the sausage, that is. Nowadays there are several branches of Curry 36, one of them for example in front of Zoologischer Garten station.
