Bode Museum

Magnificent building with a magnificent collection. The Bode Museum, named after its founding father, is located on the tip of Museumsinsel. The entrance of the building, with its sweeping stairs left and right and the impressive statue, is mindblowing.

The rest isn’t much worse either, with amongst others the basilica and the Gobelin room. The collection is a feast for the eye for lovers of European art from mainly the seventeenth until the nineteenth century.
