Bar 3

Mitte remains a strange part of town. Relatively few people are living there, but it still has plenty of excellent pubs. Bar 3 is one of them, a stone’s throw away from Torstrasse, where ‘normal life’ outside of the tourist hordes and shopping streets resumes.

The visitors are dangerously close to being hipster, the pub is smoky as no other ones. But you will ignore all of that if you love Kölsch, the beer from Cologne. Because that’s what they serve here, out of small wooden barrels even. Good place for an old-fashioned evening of hanging in a bar with friends.
