Kindl Zentrum

Museums, Neukölln | Geen reacties

The renovation of the Kindl brewery didn’t only result in the Rollberg-brewery and the König Otto coffeehouse, but also a centre for contemporary art. The spaces of the museum are sometimes jaw-dropping: especially the Kesselhaus, which has been left in its raw unrenovated state, is gigantic. It always features one artist with one piece, specially produced for this room.

The other rooms on the other floors also breathe the industrial atmosphere of the old days. With its temporary exhibitions the centre tries to claim its own progressive place in the Berlin art scene.
