The Friedelstrasse at the junction of Neukölln and Kreuzberg has been up-and-coming for a couple of years, mainly due to the plethora of hip internet companies for which I work as well. So during the lunch break it’s almost a long queue towards places such as Jimmy Woo (Asian food) and Chelany (Pakistani restaurant).
Coffee places are a must of course and Katies Blue Cat is the most well-known at the moment. The coffee actually IS really good here, but what is even more irresistible are the cakes and pies. In the weekend it can be overcrowded, during the week it is a place for internet hipsters and young mothers.
