You don’t associate Microsoft with hip coffee shops. But that is exactöy what the company is trying with Digital Eatery, at the posh Unter den Linden.
More surprising is that the attempt is more or less successful. Microsoft doesn’t aim to be Berlin-raunchy (second-hand furniture, unplastered walls, you know the tricks), bit instead features a bright interior. As a visitor you are being surrounded by electronics, as the Digital Eatery first and foremost wants to be a showroom where you can try out the newest gadgets and/or play on the Xbox. But also for an affordable cup of coffee this place is a better choice than the Starbucks around the corner.
