The white, modernist cube of the Deutsche Oper isn’t exactly appealing from the outside. Inside it’s much better, though despite the renovation the colours of the chairs are still a bit too old-fashioned and the wooden panels not modern enough.
But those seats are comfy, and of course everything revolves around the performances on stage. Those are without exception classical operas in a modern staging. A must-see for everyone who has a heart for the opera.
