Next to the Brotfabrik cultural centre is the former silent movie cinema theatre Delphi. Nowadays it is best-known as the set of the Babylon Berlin television series, about the roaring twenties in Berlin.
That is exactly the feeling you get when you enter the scarcely renovated, in 2017 reopened building. The front bar is clad with red velvet curtains. When you proceed to the main hall, you will be surprised by the sheer size of the venue. On the ground floor there are lots of tables, as if you were sitting in a huge pub. The balcony has beautiful old creaking chairs. The programme features silent movies and all kinds of performing arts.
