Belvedere

The Pfingstberg is located on the edge of Potsdam. That this spot provides excellent views over the surrounding area, was already known amongst the rich in the nineteenth century. That’s why Belvedere castle was built.

After the building had been badly damaged for decades, it is now restored in it former glory. A visit can be a great reward after a long cycling trek to Potsdam and/or a visit to Sanssouci. A ten minute walk away you can find an excellent beer garden as well.
